Instantly, we fall under the spell of Annie Pelletier’s creatures. Quickly, we find ourselves, the spectators, of a story of perils and survival. The Artist takes on the serious and dark subject of climate changes, with the lightness of a child and a fantastic creativity, that I have been admiring for more than 15 years.
In addition to drawing, painting, sculpting, assembling, welding… she manages a veritable ”tour de force”, presenting two exhibitions simultaneously. It’s in Trois-Rivières and I invite you to discover her wonderful and fabulous creative universe!

De Noé à la Méduse… Embarque dans le radeau!
Centre d’exposition Raymond-Lasnier
In Annie Pelletier’s Ark, you will find a 2-dollar Bear, a dollar Loonie, a large 5-cent Canadian Beaver and a 25-cent Elizabeth Caribou. As we enter the second room, we find her adorable creatures, taking refuge on the top of columns, which seems to be carrying the weight of the world. She works with recycled materials, stainless steel, glass and paper, giving her creations, a bold strength and fragile beauty… that goes directly to our hearts!

Galerie d’Art du Parc
The second part of the exhibit, or the first depending on the itinerary you will chose, is presented at the Galerie d’Art du Parc. It is, in the Manoir de Tonnancour, built in the 18th century, that the artist presents a behind the scene experience, as she invites the visitor to take a glympse at her creative journey. For a moment, you get to enter her workshop and discover sketches, models and several more of her striking animal creations. A pure visual delight!
