We arrived several weeks ago. So much… to do, so much to see, and so many boxes to unpack! The last few months before leaving were just as busy and went in a flash, but we made it! Before I continue with the story of our great maritime adventure, I wanted to remember all those beautiful moments shared with our loved ones… before leaving.
It went so fast, I forgot to take some pictures and I couldn’t see all the people dear to me. But they will recognize themselves and they will be more than welcome in our new home. To mention just a few… We were invited by Clarisse, with my sister to a lovely dinner. We also paid a visit to the Pillette, our parents’ good friends. We also had a nice evening at a restaurant with my sister Nathalie, my brother Patrice and his partner Ixca with Vincent and his girlfriend Camille. Only Alex was missing, as she was surfing the waves of Saint-Thomas 🙂 We will catch up soon!
As I write these few lines, the sea and the winds are once again raging before the end of autumn. We knew it, it is the price to pay for living in Paradise!
I need to hurry… before power goes out again!

A beautiful Cardinal Bird by Guy Cranston, we offered to my sister Nathalie.

There is an old saying … “When cardinals appear, angels are near.” For some, this beautiful red bird symbolizes loved ones we have lost and who will live forever in our hearts. For others, catching a glimpse of a cardinal means that a family member or friend is safe and happy, even if they are far away.

How could we forget this wonderful view of the valley, coming down the hill.

Painting pumpkins with our neighbors, a beautiful family of creative adventurers, bursting with La Joie de Vivre!
