On August 24th last year… almost 5 months ago now, we (my Barry & me) celebrated our 10 year anniversary. As we were preparing our big MOVE, it was going to be, our farewell to our beloved Montreal. As things are finally slowing down and we are settling into our wonderful new life, I had to go back to that special day we will always cherish.
As we like to do, we had chosen to take the scenic drive. On our way to Ile Sainte-Hélène, we took the Victoria Bridge and passed Habitat 67 on our way to Pont de la Concorde (at the time, the longest hyper static bridge… I believe…), but above all, the bridge my father had work on, starting his career as a Civil Engineer for Expo 67!

In Search of L’Homme by Alexander Calder…
Barry at Expo 67 & Barry Today !

I was quite certain that the 1967 photo had been taken in front of Calder’s Sculpture! It is likely another one of his works. If anyone remembers or knows which sculpture it is, please let me know!
But… Oh!!!! What a Joy to finally see it for the first time, Alexander Calder’s Masterpiece – L’Homme (The Man) with my man!
