September came quietly and our Chipmunk is still alive! We saw it for the first time, it was at the end of May. He found refuge in a blocked gutter drain. We call him Chip, I think suits him perfectly!
For three months, Barry and I, have had the improbable mission of protecting him from the friendly and usual suspects. It seems that he managed to escape his fate, which could have been rather short and dark. From time to time, these last months, I gave him unsalted almonds, which were on their way to the compost. I like to think we helped him a little…
Working on my big and ongoing organizing project, I found a complete set of Popsicle Sticks Furniture, that I built, more than forty years ago!
We had the idea of filming our little furry friend for some time and finding a kitchen… perfectly adjusted to his size happened just in time.
Here’s how, on a beautiful afternoon, we got to record these adorable moments!!!

Hmmm… A new kitchen and almonds… Just for me!!!

A Crazy Chipmonk !!!
