« For her the ocean was more than a dream, it was a place she needed to visit to find herself. And when she returned to the city, you could see the sun in her eyes, the wind in her hair, and taste in the infinite salt on her lips.» – José Chaves
We had just arrived at the cottage and we went straight to the beach. We had arrived on the beach, ust in time to see the sun setting, on our beloved Hirtle’s Beach.
Almost deserted, you still showed the traces of thousands of steps, left in the sand during the day. The air was fresh but we could still feel the sun kissing our cheeks. A whole season had passed since our last visit. Since that afternoon, when we were here for the first time, you have never left my thoughts!
