Travel Diary No.5 – Nova Scotia, October 2022 – Lunenburg, Blue Rocks & Mahone Bay

I remember sitting at a table, on the outdoor patio of the Savvy Sailor, overlooking the harbour. It was our first visit to Lunenburg, on our Honeymoon a little bit more than three years ago. Love at First Sight. For us… and for this beautiful, colorful, wonderful town, we had just spent the last two days. We had not left and there we were thinking of coming back. I know, it’s often something we say when travelling… but rarely do. For Lunenburg, it would prove to be different. It was our last trip before the Pandemic and our first one after the borders between provinces would be lifted.

Since that first visit, we have returned three times! Love at first sight!
