This week, I wanted to take a step back in time and tell you about a creative project I made, more than 40 years ago. I recently found the boxes of a craft project, that kept me busy for a whole summer. I must have been about 10 years old. That summer, I got the idea to make furniture for a doll house, out of Popsicle sticks. I don’t have any photos from that time, but I’m very happy to have kept them for so long. After some needed repairs, for a moment, I was 10 years old again!

In my kitchen, there was warm bread coming out of the oven, a wood stove with copper wire elements and a pan with sizzling bacon & egg! It’s really amazing how these pieces of paper… have survived more than four decades and three moves!

In my room, there was a single bed, a chest of drawers with a real mirror and a cradle.

In the living room, there was a piano, a knitting project and a ball of yarn. Entertainment from the good old days… This was long before social medias!

… and a high chair.

A craft that has stood the test of time. A sweet memory, of the little girl… who wanted to be an artist!
Happy Spring Break !
