2023 will be a Year of Hope!
All good reasons to celebrate Easter and talk about these bunnies, living in our enchanted forest.

First there were the neighborhood rabbits… Midnight & Flashlight…

There were all those bunnies… who brought colors and smiles to our Pandemic…

and this year…there were those driftwood bunnies…that started to multiply…

Even our Rudolph got in his head to be a rabbit… braving the cold, the snow and finally a little sun!

But winter hadn’t spoken its last word… and the snow turned into ice… lots of ice…

A shiny layer of ice took over the trees. The crystallized branches came down, taking along many power lines. 1.1 million homes lost power that Wednesday afternoon. Like the Rabbit, we adapted to our new situation and made the most of it. I kept busy to stay warm enough, and when the night came, with my lantern and dressed to sleep outside… I sanded and assembled the last Easter Bunnies (under Louis Bird’s very intrigued eye) by Guy Cranston, Lunenburg

After more than 44 hours in the dark, thanks to the colossal, relentless and hard work of the brave Hydro-Québec teams, power finally returned. Saved from the cold, it was time to take a few pics and add them to our very Joyful Bunny Collection.

And that’s how… the Bunnies got to brighten up our home!
Happy Easter and Happy Spring!
