Last week, I found these pumpkins at the store… where all the items are no longer $1. With the packing, the sale of our house and the preparations for the move, my creative impulses have been put on the back burner. But still… there are still some artistic coals, waiting to be rekindled.
I first got one pumpkin and a tube of orange paint, to do it on my own. But then I thought it would be a great opportunity to spend time with our neighbours, as we are starting to say our goodbyes. A beautiful family of creatives, adventurers of the deserts and mountains, hyperactive in a good way with an extraordinary sense of family, friends and celebration. Very good neighbors who we will miss… that’s for sure, but with whom we’ve created wonderful memories.
I wanted to immortalize these moments and share this activity, which we will bring with us in our new Nova Scotian adventure. Listening the music of Engelbert Humperdink, with three beautiful kids full of humor and kindness, here are the images of our creative project.
If the idea of digging your hand into a pumpkin doesn’t really appeal to you… Here’s a simple, easy and fun activity, to enjoy with the whole family, your friends or on your own !

Happy October & Happy Halloween !
