I created my first Advent Calendar Blog in December 2020. Since then, I have challenged myself to create a yearly project that would align with the purpose of my Blog, Aime Imagine Design. Sharing my ”Coups de Coeur”. Sharing People’s Light. Being Creative.
If you know me, you know that we’ve embarked in a new adventure to live by the sea, in Nova Scotia. By the time we settled in and enjoyed all the moments that were presented to us, I didn’t have enough time left to do a 2023 Calendar.
Inspired by the song “12 days of Christmas”, I though I could create a half-calendar that would take me half of the time! I stumbled upon this beautiful little book by Briana Corr Scott, an East Coast Author and Illustrator. I invite you to discover her fabulous world, full of nature and colors! A visual delight.
The Twelve Days of Christmas – A Celebration of Nature par Briana Corr Scott

Going through the album, I got interested in knowing more about this song. Among other things, I learned that the song’s earliest version would date back to the 18th century. Unlike the Advent Calendar, it begins on Christmas Day. That is why my Twelve Days of Christmas will begin tomorrow, on December 25th!

Each day I will present my new Maritime ”Coups de Coeur” and share some of the precious moments, we have experienced since we arrive in Nova Scotia.
