A few weeks ago, I came across a box of beautiful old wooden thread spools. They must have been my Grandma’s from my Mum side.They had the most fabulous colors and I could only imagine the beautiful clothes they were used for. I wanted to create a little shelf or shadow box, where I could display them and finally let them out of their box. It didn’t turn out as I wanted and what was supposed to be a small display for my grandmother’s old spools… finally took another turn.

So here’s how my project, became a display for a few specimens of my shell collection.

Reclaimed Lobster Trap Wood + Miter Saw + Wood Glue

Next Step – Make a bigger & Cat Proofed one
