On the second day of Christmas,
my true love gave to me
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.
At the end of November, I had the great pleasure to attend a Christmas Wreath Workshop, with Svenja Dee – Seasonal Flower Grower & Designer. The workshop was held in a beautiful barn, also used for weddings and events. Farm on the South. A dozen of wreaths enthusiasts dressed warmly and excited to be there! To keep us warm, Svenja had prepared hot spiced cider served with the most delicious brownies from Cake Etc. by Sharon Hanlon!
Everything had been carefully prepared and was supplied by Svenja. Branches of Pine, Fir, Silver Shappire Cypress, Boxwood, Red berries, Magnolia leaves and other ornaments were made available to us. A real pleasure for the eyes… even before we started!
Svenja shared a few tips to get us going. We all listened with our eyes wide open, full of admiration! And it was time to get started! The wreaths began to appear quickly in the joy and excitement of watching our neighbours… working faster than others! Quietly everyone, including me :), found their rhythm. We had all the same elements to start from, but in the end, each wreath was just as beautiful as different!
The creative mess…we left behind!
Back home, I chose to hang the wreath made by Svenja and mine on each sides of our door. They will stay there for all winter and will remind me of this wonderful activity.
I’m already looking forward to the next workshop!
Come back Tomorrow…

Have a nice and quiet day everyone !
