At the end of last Spring, I got to participate in a Mixed Media Drawing Workshop with the talented artist and excellent communicator, Michael Peters. The workshop was held at the Lunenburg School of the Arts.
That morning, the rain had been playing hide and seek with the clouds. The light fog was simply magical and made my route along the ocean, even more wonderful. The ferry crossing was just long enough to drift quietly into my thoughts. What a joy it is to be living here!
Through my creative explorations, I had decided to push my limits and experiment with drawing and painting.
I arrived there with a heart fully loaded with joy and gratitude. I simply had no expectations, I met great people, had lots of fun and I had the best of times !
Here’s how the day went…

Students Art Show at the Lunenburg School of the Arts Gallery

What a beautiful surprise to find my ”Giant Jelly Fish” in the main window of the Gallery.

To my delight, the two pieces caught the attention of some people and were sold, just a few days later. The larger one is now in a lovely house on a tiny island near Chester. The smaller one has since found a home in a charming red house in Lunenburg. Thank you to Patricia and Carolyn for your appreciation and for purchasing my two Jellyfish!

Most of all, Thank you to Michael Peters for sharing your Passion and to Katie Hall for making all this happen!
